(writing/personal/advent) Not dead yet!

I seem to use that a lot as a title.  That’s not a good thing.

But I’m not dead, and I’m still writing.  I’ve finished the first draft of Winter’s Secrets, which is the rewrite of the first Advent blog story.   I’m letting it marinate until April, when I’m going to do my first edit run, then send it off to my editor.  Barring the unforeseen, it will available in both ebook and paper (yes, paper!) in July, just in time for Molly and Drew’s wedding.  So keep your eyes open, because there’s going to be a very special Advent in July, just for the wedding.

And if you want your own little piece of Carter’s Cove, you can now have it.  Because Molly and Schrodinger got together with Adagio Teas and created some special blends!  Now, you can get Molly’s favorite Christmas blend, Schrodinger’s favorite Earl Grey, or the Snow Queen’s own special white tea blend.  If you get it, let me know how you like it!  I can almost guarantee that Molly will be giving away some of these special blends as wedding favors to readers in July, and if you find me at Balticon, I’ll probably have some there to try!

I’m also working on the first draft of the next Sapph Pendragon novella, Deep Waters, which I want to have out by the end of summer.  I’m really pushing myself on this, because it’s taking me too long to do things.

It was a long winter.  It’s still a cold spring, but it’s spring, and my brain is finally waking up.  This is a good thing.
