{"id":1049,"date":"2013-07-29T08:30:27","date_gmt":"2013-07-29T12:30:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vg-ford.com\/?p=1049"},"modified":"2013-07-28T21:11:07","modified_gmt":"2013-07-29T01:11:07","slug":"healthpersonal-new-week-new-things-to-do","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vg-ford.com\/?p=1049","title":{"rendered":"(health\/personal) New week, new things to do"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I lost a lot of last week, due to work stuff, and so my healthy lifestyle took a bit of a hit. \u00a0However, this is a marathon, not a sprint, so I&#8217;m back up on the horse. \u00a0We will NOT discuss this weekend, when I had Domino&#8217;s pizza (and not the gluten-free type either) two nights running. \u00a0Ugh. \u00a0At least I didn&#8217;t have any soda! \u00a0I resisted that! \u00a0Go me!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Today, after sleeping all day (investigations wear me out), I made my first attempt at eggplant pizza. \u00a0Oh. \u00a0My. \u00a0Goodness. \u00a0I think (and Brian agrees) that this is how we&#8217;ll do pizza from now on. \u00a0He didn&#8217;t even miss the crust! \u00a0And it was sooooo good! \u00a0I think I know what I&#8217;m doing with that big zucchini in my fridge &#8211; &#8220;french bread&#8221; pizzas! \u00a0I have the lamb chops still in the fridge, so I think I&#8217;ll thaw those and make them as well.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m finding that you have to have a plan for the week, and it has to be flexible, or the entire eating thing goes to hell. \u00a0I have a few cookbooks about snacks and lunches that I need to read, so I can have some things ready to grab if I oversleep. \u00a0 Luckily, I have a lot of eggs, and a lot of zucchini. \u00a0I think I&#8217;m making zucchini bread! \u00a0Or muffins.
